Key notes

1Start with the V-flat just outside the frame on the shadow side; the closer it is, the more expensive and graphic the shadow feels.
2Do not aim the key straight at the V-flat; feather across the model so the black surface does not catch spill.

4If hair separates poorly from the background, add a low-powered rim instead of opening the V-flat.
