One key, one black board, and a rim you can add: name the job of each before you touch power — the key shapes, the board deepens the shadow side, and the rim (Cinematic Rim tab) lifts the head off the dark.

Base setup

A single keyed source at 45° sculpts the face with a smooth, continuous falloff down the shadow side rather than a broken-up pattern, negative fill on the opposite side deepens the shadow into the jaw, and an optional rim — the Cinematic Rim tab — separates the head from a dark background — together producing depth without flattening the form.
